New Haven Elementary Supports Behringer-Crawford Museum

COVINGTON, KY (FOX19) - New Haven Elementary School students conducted a penny drive to help support the Behringer-Crawford Museum through recent HVAC thefts. The BCM penny drive is Thursday, February 17  at 9am. There will be a check presentation at the school located at 10854 US Highway 42 in Union.

Five of the museum's nine heating and air conditioning units were stolen on December 17, 2010 after workers at Behringer-Crawford Museum discovered that they were missing.

Police think the HVAC units were taken overnight while the museum was closed.

Lisa Lokesak is the third grade teacher who coordinated this. She also brought 122 third graders for a tour and the families chipped in an extra $1 per student to help BCM.
