Man accused of getting a toddler drunk pleads guilty in court

COVINGTON, KY (FOX19) - A Kenton County man accused of getting a 2-year-old child drunk pleaded guilty to first degree criminal abuse Tuesday and a sentence of 90 months was recommended.

Raymond Jackson, 23, is accused of encouraging his own stepdaughter in May of 2010 to drink a combination of Gin and iced tea, which caused her to pass out. In June, Jackson was in a Kenton County courtroom where the judge ordered Jackson to stay away from his stepdaughter.

After the incident, Jackson was taken to the Kenton County Detention Center and was held on a $10,000 bond.

Snow pictures from the neighborhood

Snow pictures from the neighborhood

ERLANGER, KY (FOX19) - This morning's snow blanketed just about all of the Tri-State, bad news for those trying to get to work on a tight schedule.

Seemingly avoiding the problem was Tina Fancher of Erlanger, who shot a picture of her back yard while the snow was still coming down.

Also in Erlanger was Chad and Laura Boggs' cat named Chaos.  We don't know if the cat was unhappy about having to stay indoors, but there haven't been any complaints from the neighborhood birds.

The snow was fairly fluffy, but not to the point where it didn't cover a tree in the backyard of J.C. in Elsmere.
