FLORENCE, KY (FOX19) - Party Town will welcome Keith Klein as their Artist in Residence at their Spring Wine & Art Show, from 3 to 6 p.m. on March 31st.

Keith Klein is amazingly diverse, with styles that range from classical realism, plein air landscapes and classical portraiture to bright and colorful works that have their roots in impressionism and pointillism. He studied with Anneleise Wharenberg in an "Atelier" in Walton, Kentucky. He felt that her method of demonstrating a painting technique as he watched was the very best way to learn. He carries on the same tradition in his studio in Florence, Kentucky. His "Atelier" is housed in the former Florence Deposit Bank on Main Street.

“We’re excited to have an artist from right here in Florence,” says Drew Murphy, General Manager of Party Town, “whose work has been featured in so many international locations. Keith's work is part of the collection(s) of the Princess of Saudi Arabia, Cincinnati Bell, Converges, Cincinnati Financial and many other prestigious private collections across the United States.”

Mr. Klein is represented by the Eisele Gallery of Fine Art in Fairfax.  The Eisele Gallery will be having the Grand Opening of its new contemporary wing on April 27, from 6-9PM, featuring beautiful contemporary realism and impressionism. Klein's work as well as many other fine artists will be part of an exhibition titled "We love Cincinnati, Painting the Queen City".

Party Town’s tastings, free and open to the adult public (21 and over), are normally held weekly on Saturdays and Sundays, from 3 to 5 p.m., but for this event the time will be extended to 6 p.m.

Opened in early 2003, Party Town offers items from children’s birthday decorations to the finest wines. It is located in a small plaza at the intersection of Turfway and Burlington Pike (KY 18).
