Large NKY Christmas dinner moves to NKY Convention Center | Events
COVINGTON, KY (FOX19) - Mental Health America of Northern Kentucky is trying to get the word out that their Christmas Day Dinner will be at a new and bigger location this year. The need has increased, and they can serve more people at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center.
They suspect that some families who may need this dinner are not even aware that it is available.
This year, the event is expecting more than 2,000 low income families (up from 1,600 last year), will have food provided by Remke/bigg’s and catered by McHales Events and Catering and will be held in the Northern Kentucky Convention center for the first time ever.
In addition to being one of the largest dinners in the area, it’s also one of the only providing gifts to low-income families. Toys for Tots will be providing a semi truck full of toys and gifts for the entire family.
