BURLINGTON, KY (FOX19)- Three teenagers have been arrested for crashing a stolen car, then fleeing the scene in Boone County.

They are also accused of breaking into numerous vehicles overnight throughout the Burlington area.

Austin Collins, 18 of
Independence and two juveniles, a 16 and 17 year old, both from Covington, are charged with Receiving stolen property valued over $10,000,
Receiving stolen property under $10,000, Fleeing, Criminal trespass, Tampering with physical
evidence and Possession of marijuana.

At approximately 2:40 a.m. on Sunday morning, Jan. 6, the three were involved in a collision on Allens Fork Road in
Burlington.  All three abandoned the
stolen vehicle.  Deputies caught up to
them near Venetian Way in Burlington after being called there for a theft from
a vehicle at 6:10 a.m. 

Deputies recovered
stolen property from vehicles broken into on Sarah Lane, Edgewood Drive,
Sandersville Road, Catalpa Court, and Idlewild Road.  Taken in the thefts was cash, a Magellan GPS
unit, Sanyo flip phone, Sony PSP with charger, three i-Pod touches, Dell
notebook, black maglight, and a Chicago Bulls hat.
