Garage and van destroyed by fire in Taylor Mill | News

TAYLOR MILL, KY (FOX19) – A garage fire on Wolf Road in Taylor Mill turned the sky black for a few minutes Monday afternoon.

Some of the darkness in the smoke may have been contributed by a van that was in the garage, which was destroyed along with the garage, leaving only its frame.  A large riding lawn mower also was destroyed, and the house the garage stood next to was blackened by the smoke.

Once firefighters arrived, they made short work of the fire, but the damage was already done.

No cause has been determined yet for the fire.
