Covington appoints Police Chief Spike Jones | News
Covington has a new man in charge of the police force.
Michael 'Spike' Jones was appointed the new Covington police chief Friday morning, following the retirement of former chief, Lee Russo.
Jones, the assistant police chief, had been serving as Interim Police Chief during Covington's nation-wide search for a replacement.
In the end, the life-long resident of Covington received the title.
