News

ERLANGER, KY (FOX19)- Police are investigating what they are now calling a homicide in Erlanger.

Officials were called to a home in the 3100 block of Hulbert Avenue near Division Street around 5 p.m. Monday night for a wellness check by a third party. Upon arrival, they found the back door open and a deceased female inside the residence.

The victim has been identified as Tasha Nichole Campbell, 26, of Cleves.

Police have named Timothy Grissett, 50, as a suspect in Campbell's murder. He is a white male, 5'8" and 165 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair. He has a tattoo on his left hand and left arm and is missing his right leg. He is possibly driving a 2004 blue Honda Accord with Ohio temporary tag #V857632 that has been listed as stolen. He is considered dangerous.

Anyone with information on Grissett's whereabouts should call Erlanger Police at 859-727-2424.

Grissett has a criminal past that includes serving 15 years in prison for aggravated burglary several years ago.

Police have not released any connection between Grissett and Campbell. Investigators say Grissett lived in the home where Campbell was found, but it's unclear why she was there.

The Kenton County Coroner's Office will determine Campbell's cause of death. Friends of Campbell say she had a young son and she had been doing some modeling.
